Welcome to Swiss {ai} Weeks Hackathons!
This guidebook contains all the necessary information for you to have the best hackathon experience possible. We've gathered all the essential information you'll need to get the most out of Swiss {ai} Weeks 2025.
We provide Swiss plugs (Type J). Unfortunately, we cannot provide multiple types of plugs, so please bring adapters if you need them.
If, for some reason, you will not be able to attend Swiss {ai} Weeks hackathons, please notify us with a short message. This helps us reassign your spot at the event to someone else. Thank you! π
WIFI ACCESS:
High-speed internet will be available throughout the venue. Please make sure to enter the password correctly - multiple false attempts will lead to your internet access being locked for a certain amount of time πΆ

Code of Conduct

Be respectful and act in good faith. Harassment and abuse are never tolerated. If you are in a situation that makes you uncomfortable, please report it using the procedures included below.
1. General
Swiss {ai} Weeks seeks to provide a respectful, friendly, professional experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, physical appearance, economic status, disability, age, race or religion.
2. Anti-Harassment Policy
We do not tolerate any behaviour that would be deemed harassment or discrimination. This includes offensive verbal comments, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

4. Reporting and Enforcement
Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour may be reported to the community leaders. All reporters have the right to remain anonymous.
Relax & Recharge
Accommodation
For those planning to get some sleep during the event, there will be a "quiet sleeping area" where you can rest and take a break from hacking.
There will be a separate women's sleeping area. These areas will be fairly modest, so we recommend bringing a sleeping bag, small mattress and pillow for extra comfort.

Alternative accommodation:
You are free to book accommodation in Zurich at your own expense. Hotel recommendations available upon request.
Showers
Shower facilities will be available for participants who stay overnight.

You'll get free access to showers during the event. Schedule and locations will be provided at check-in.
