# African Voices in AI

African Voices in AI brings together researchers, founders, engineers and AI professionals to share perspectives on AI research, entrepreneurship and real world applications across Africa and Switzerland. Hosted by Young AI Leaders Zurich, together with African Students Association of Zurich (ASAZ), IGAIP and International Computation and AI Network (ICAIN) the event aims to give African voices a stronger place in the AI conversation and build connections across academia, industry and the wider community.
Attendees can expect speaker insights, a moderated panel, audience discussion and a networking apéro. The event takes place on 1 October 2026 at ETH Zürich. Doors open at 18:15, and the programme runs from 18:30 to approximately 21:00.
