# FORMA APERTA

ORMA APERTA | WHERE DOES THE CREATIVE PROCESS LIVE?
From **28 September to 11 October**, **PalaCinema Locarno** will host and co-organize an open space for film production, research and dialogue.

The **Generative Center** is opening the production process of _Daniel JeanRichard_, a film combining traditional filmmaking with AI-generated imagery.
At a time of radical transformation for cinema and society, **FORMA APERTA invites the sector and anyone interested to enter the process**: to observe, ask questions, share experiences and contribute different perspectives.

Program 

**02.10 | Merge Festival, Massagno · 17:00–18:00**
An open roundtable exploring what it means to open a creative process and the questions raised by FORMA APERTA. With members of the project, **Simona Gamba / Living Lab Lugano** and **Sébastien Peter / City of Locarno**.

**06.10 · 14:30–16:00 | Open Studio / Feedback Session**
Enter the production space, observe the work in progress and exchange with the creative team.

**08.10 · 18:00–19:30 | Open Studio / Feedback Session**
A second opening of the process to the public, students and professionals.

**09.10 · 15:00–17:30 | Swiss Cinema Gathering**
A national roundtable on AI-assisted filmmaking workflows and the creative, ethical, ecological, legal and professional implications emerging from the production.

**09.10 · 17:30–20:00 | Opening — Intelligence in Time**
Cinema, artificial intelligence, research, the history of watchmaking and the philosophy of time meet around the production of _Daniel JeanRichard_, with film material and the first findings of research into ethical, social and environmental questions, developed with academic institutions.

**The process is open. So are the questions.**
