Lifelong Learning in Digital Transformation

About the event

Details and agenda

As digital technologies reshape how we work, collaborate and make decisions, a second digital divide is emerging: the gap between professionals who continuously develop the skills to understand and apply new technologies – and those struggling to keep pace. _How can organizations build lifelong learning ecosystems that enable professionals to continuously adapt to rapid technological change? _Through expert insights, demos, hands-on experimentation, and peer exchange, we will explore how organizations can combine structured digital learning, learning by doing, and peer learning to support continuous adaptation.

The event will take you from insight to action:

Discover how organizations can build effective approaches to lifelong learning through a moderated expert conversation.
Engage with digital microlearning through a live demonstration that makes learning accessible, tangible and less intimidating.
Experiment and bring your own idea to life by using AI and step-by-step guidance to build a simple prototype application
Reflect and connect through peer learning, prototype sharing and a networking apéro.

Our speakers Sara Šaljić (Digital Learning Lead at the Geneva Research Lab for Digital Impact, University of Geneva)Katherine Tatarinov(Assistant Professor of Strategy at HEC Lausanne), Sharon Compton (Chief, Talent Management Branch at International Labour Organization), and Karim Berrah (Data Analytics Specialist at Amazon Web Services) will bring perspectives from research, organizational learning, and international practice to explore how professionals and organizations can move from understanding emerging technologies to applying them confidently and responsibly.

Bring your laptop and an idea - however early or ambitious - and participate in a guided,** **hands-on experiment that will let you turn your idea into a simple AI-powered prototype application. No coding experience is required: participants will receive complimentary credits and practical guidance throughout the session.
