Intro to AI safety, what the current headlines mean, and our fall programme.
An open evening for anyone curious about the risks of advanced AI and the people working on them in Zurich.
We start with a clear introduction to AI safety, look at what the recent headlines around AI incidents actually mean, and present what Zurich AI Safety has planned that you can get involved this fall: the AI Futures talk series, the AI Safety Fundamentals course, meetups and the Swiss AI Safety Days (7-8 November, named Best Event of Swiss AI Weeks 2025).
Open to students, researchers and professionals from tech, policy and beyond.
No prior knowledge needed, and sceptical questions are welcome.
